Description:
As a CMP Manager, you will be responsible for managing the product engineering and research & development activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining and/or building a good relationship with our customers. You will report to the CMP Senior Manager.
This ideal candidate must: 1) possess excellent organizational skills, 2) be able to develop a career development plan for the team and help coach and mentor the CMP development team members, 3) possess excellent skills to manage research & development programs and product engineering, 4) possess excellent communication skills to work with our customers, 5) work closely with the company R&D (Japanese company) to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
EDUCATION:
BS in Chemistry or chemical engineering. Masters degree in Chemistry or chemical engineering preferred.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
4 years of CMP experience with 2 years of management experience preferred.
Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and process development is desired.
Knowledge of SPC/SQC and DOE.
Chemical handling procedures and safety knowledge is desired.
Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze situations, troubleshoot, and develop a plan of action
Ability to lead a team and to multi-task in a small group
Ability to adopt new situations and new tasks in a fast moving environment
Clearly communicate a competent Management objective
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build relationships with potential and existing customers and partners. Secure new business opportunities by working closely with customers and partners including marketing, regularly scheduled meetings and applications support. (Frequent travel (domestic/International) is required.)
Prioritize and coordinate CMP lab/development activities between the company, R&D and subsidiaries to meet our customers requirements in a timely manner.
Coordinate work flow, work load and continuous training within the company CMP group.
Operate equipment in the lab and collect application data to provide support to R&D activities as well as customers.
Coordinate QA/QC activity between our customers and the manufacturing group.
Make suggestions to management for improving this position, or improving work processes.
Work safely by observing safety rules, policies and procedures. Identify unsafe conditions or actions to my supervisor.
Manage other ad hoc projects as assigned.
